For the past two years I have devoted most of my time and energy to researching and writing Music Titans – 250 Greatest Recording Artists of the Past 100 Years, a music history book. The back cover reads, in part, “Discover the most consequential music and recording artists of the past 100 years. Using a clear, well-explained metric, the author sets out to list and rank the most important artists and provides arresting biographical information and cogent discussion of the music. You’ll find musicians of all genres depicted, some from a century ago, some riding high on today’s charts. Music Titans – 250 Greatest Recording Artists of the Past 100 Years celebrates the music and the artists that have moved us so profoundly.” With the book now in production (formatting and cover design being worked on), my hope is that the launch date is not far off. For that reason, I have decided to put my blog temporarily on hiatus and concentrate on the promotion of the book. I thank those of you who have followed this blog, and I hope that you will also read the book which will be widely available on multiple platforms (e.g., BookBaby, Amazon, Barnes & Noble’s Nook, etc.) in both paper and eBook form.
